Working titles
Here are a few of the titles I have so far in the NODUM series -
1. A Ticket to Evil
2. Blood Savior
3. Dark Thing
4. 199 Souls
Neat huh? These are not set in stone. Ticket went through 3 other names before it became that.

Writing tip #??
When reading over your work try doing it with a British accent to hear if it sounds good.
Chances are a Brit will probably read your story on the audiobook version.

The strange, the weird, and the supernatural.
Hello :)
If you are not a fan of vampires, erotic monster/ghost stories(see vampires), supernatural private detective erotic noir(stripper vampires)and any other book that has any combination of all those then you are like me.
I started book after book trying to find a decent story that was sans vampires or the obligatory and poorly written sexy monster thing sexy sex orgy. The shelves are only so big and these things where starting to take up more and more room.
I was looking for a series and I was offered Dresden. Not bad but still a watered down version of what I was looking for.
Mad and frustrated I ranted about what was out there. I said if these fools can pump this lame stuff out I can too and I'll make it so dumb that I will rule all of the strange, weird, and supernatural fans out there and I will give them a series like no other dumb series out there MWAAHAAHAAHAHAAAHA!
but I needed am name.
There is so much out there but there had to be something so bad that hasn't happened that I could jump on. I went through the popular words like moon, wrath, cycle, fate, wolf, vampire, chaos, dark, etc etc etc.
I settled on night because night of something always sounded good but what made the magic? Goofing around I said the fated Night of Darkness! This was good! no this was AWESOME! I started to get the kind of main character I would use, places, and creatures. It needed more though. Think think think!!
what was dumb?...until morning.
Night of Darkness Until Morning.
The dumbest title I have ever come up with.
My empire was about to steamroll genre readers everywhere and beat them to death with exactly what they wanted. I would need huge guards with me on book tours because of the rabid fans and I would sign, if I felt like it, with an extension pole that had a marker on the other end. Sitting wearing all black sipping a bottle of whatever I said the main character drank as the fans shouted at me something like, "Is Truscio
going to stay with Abernathy-Rose or will the baby she had with Grucious cause him to stay in his sexy sex erotic were-furry sex creature form?"
Yep this is the life I envisioned and it became a horrible thing!
I thought, is this how the others did it? Did I follow the formula?
My mind began to spin. I didn't want that. Ok part of that sounded cool but that's not what I wanted for me and the people out there like me that was looking for something better, something more.
I thought of what I had and looked past the dumb title and scribbled a few bits and something was starting. A legitimate story that could be what I was looking for at bookstores but still could be the goofy.
I described a bit recently and it got a great reaction so I'm starting to think I may be on to something good.
So now this brings us to here where I hope from time to time to post little things about NODUM(brand HAHA!)and stuff related.
I have some cool stuff planned. Maybe I can actually see this project to the end and get published some how.
If it all works out I'll buy you a root beer at Roger's!
